  1. Swami, Many, many thanks for this post. I was looking for Soulabhyam which guna is the most endearing to me. Have I missed it? Anyway, the greatest example of this can be found with Sri Sthala Sayana Perumal in Tirukadal Mallai (Mahapalipuram, near Chennai) when He just lay down on the floor (kattan tharai, in Tamil) to please Sri Pundareega Maharishi. In fact, visiting that Temple about 3 years ago, I was so captivated with his beautiful swaroopam that I stood transfixed at the Sanctum for nearly 45 mts. He was also gracious to bestow the following lines to me:
    Om Saulabhya SwaroopAya VidhmahE
    PundarEga Rishi PriyAya DhEmahi
    Tanoo Vishnu PrachodayAt.
I would like to thank you for your wonderful service of bringing these qualities of Sri Bagawan together in this post.

    Ramanathan.

    • Ramanathan sir, thanks for information about sthala sayana perumal. Glad to know that. It’s also reminds me about Thiruvekka Sri sonna vannam seitha perumal where he just followed alwar with His serpent bed.

    • Swami,
Sowlabhyam was the first Guna adiyean too was looking for in the articles and found Sowseelyam closely related to Sowlabhyam. Adiyean vaguely remembers hearing about both the gunas in one of Swami’s Upanyasams. There doesn’t seem to be much articles on the net about both the gunas. Mercifully, Sriman Narayana will clarify about both the gunas through some means.

  2. Swamy, ஒரு பழத்தை கேட்டதற்கு ஒரு பழ கூடையயே ,இல்லை மரத்தையே கொடுத்து உள்ளீர்கள் . Is this the reflection of peruman’s Owdhaaryam from you? My heartfelt thanks to you and for your time and effort.

    • Adiyean didn’t think of having the articles as a single file. Thank you for the suggestion. Adiyean will consolidate them and upload as a PDF shortly. Meanwhile for other posts, adiyean has added the option to Print (visible at the end of every post), from where devareer can choose to save as PDF in Chrome Browser. In iPad / iPhone (Safari Browser) tap the share button and then choose “Add to Reading Lists”. This saves the article for offline reading in Safari itself. Alternatively there are apps (available for Android & iOS) like Pocket and Evernote that can be used to save articles for offline reading. Hope this helps.
